Yankees | Hiroki Kuroda settled for less money
New York Yankees SP Hiroki Kuroda declined offers for more money and more years in order to sign a one-year, $15 million deal with the Yankees, according to a source with knowledge of the negotiations. The Los Angeles Dodgers, Los Angeles Angels of Anaheim and Boston Red Sox were all interested in Kuroda. The Yanks had the edge due to Kuroda's comfort level in the city.
