An anonymous source said the New York Mets have a "50-50" chance to ink 3B David Wright to a long-term contract extension this offseason. Wright "is less than thrilled with the length of contract and amount of guaranteed money the Mets have offered." "Part of it is (COO) Jeff Wilpon tries to win every negotiation, he doesn't go for the middle ground," an anonymous source said.
