Bears | Not revealing much about Jay Cutler

Chicago Bears head coach Lovie Smith was keeping tight wraps Wednesday, Nov. 14, on QB Jay Cutler's (concussion) progress on his return from a concussion. Cutler was at the team's facility but the Bears chose not to practice. "Jay is getting better," Smith said. "I am not going to go into exactly each step he has taken and things like that, and I think you can understand why. We will be on the practice field (Thursday). We can give you a little bit better idea of where he is then." Cutler has suffered three concussions during his NFL career and at least four dating to his career at Vanderbilt. Smith added Cutler will not practice until he is completely healthy.
