Marlins | Giancarlo Stanton not being shopped

The Miami Marlins are not shopping OF Giancarlo Stanton for a trade as they overhaul their roster this winter. According to a source, the outfielder remains untouchable, at least for the 2013 season. Stanton has one more year until he is eligible for arbitration, and he won't have the service time to be eligible for free agency until after the 2016 season. Miami isn't discussing a long-term deal with Stanton, though.
