Steelers | Ben Roethlisberger injury update
Updating previous items, doctors are concerned that Pittsburgh Steelers QB Ben Roethlisberger's (shoulder, rib) rib injury could lead to more internal damage if he played in Week 11.
Fantasy Tip: Byron Leftwich will get the start in Week 11 at home against the Ravens. Leftwich has always been known to have a strong arm, but a mighty slow delivery. Antonio Brown (ankle) is hobbled, which further hampers the offense's chances of moving the ball through the air. Expect the Steelers to try to exploit the Ravens' banged-up run defense, and Leftwich doesn't figure to be a wise play in Week 11. The team is more worried about Roethlisberger's rib injury more so than his shoulder. It's a potentially serious injury and requires a high pain threshold, which Big Ben has. However, it's at least a three-week injury. Heath Miller figures to benefit as Leftwich's security blanket.
