St. Louis Cardinals SP Jaime Garcia (shoulder) threw roughly 25 pitches off a mound Monday, Nov. 12, and he's expected to have a "normal offseason," according to general manager John Mozeliak. "By December he'll have a normal offseason and in January begin the throwing program for spring," Mozeliak said. "In everything I heard (from the team medical staff) today, the word surgery never came up."
