Nationals | Length of contract for Adam LaRoche could be stumbling block

In an interview on Sirius XM Radio, Washington Nationals general manager Mike Rizzo said that the length of a new contract for free-agent 1B Adam LaRoche is more of an obstacle to a deal being finalized than the amount of money being requested. Rizzo said that if the team is unable to sign LaRoche, Mike Morse or Tyler Moore could be moved from the outfield to first base, with Bryce Harper moving to left field while the Nationals look for a center fielder.
