Since entering the league in 2010, none of San Diego Chargers RB Ryan Mathews' 475 carries have gone for 40 or more yards, his longest being 39. During that span, Cincinnati Bengals RB BenJarvus Green-Ellis and New York Jets RB Shonn Greene are the only other running backs in the league with 300 or more carries without a 40-yard gain.
