49ers | Jewel Hampton back on field

San Francisco 49ers RB Jewel Hampton (foot) has been able to return to practice this week, making his way back from offseason foot surgery. However, the backfield situation is crowded, so a move to the active roster seems unlikely. The team has three weeks to activate him or he would finish the season on the Non-Football Injury list.
