Kansas City Royals general manager Dayton Moore dismissed reports that SP Ervin Santana was dealing with a small ligament tear in his right elbow. "If our medical people hadn't cleared him, we wouldn't have done the deal. He's no different from anyone else who is pitching," Moore said. Santana had elbow issues back in 2009.
