Dodgers | Close to hiring Mark McGwire

St. Louis Cardinals hitting coach Mark McGwire has informed the team that he intends to accept a similar position with the Los Angeles Dodgers. A deal between the Dodgers and McGwire isn't final, but McGwire informed the Cardinals he doesn't intend to accept their extension offer. McGwire and his family live in Orange County.
