Angels | Dan Haren expects to be traded
Los Angeles Angels of Anaheim SP Dan Haren expects to be traded before the team has to make a decision on his $15.5 million 2013 option Friday, Nov. 2, which they are expected to decline. Haren has a $3.5 million buyout attached. "I have had just a bit of dialogue with the Angels about my situation, but I'm kind of getting the feeling that I'll be traded," Haren wrote. "I have no specifics on teams, but that's the vibe I'm getting. It's a little bit disappointing that I won't get to pick where I want to go, but I'm the one who signed on for the option year." Haren said he'd be willing to do a one-year deal with the Angels if they can't find a trade partner and they decline his option.
