White Sox | Jake Peavy agrees to new deal

The Chicago White Sox agreed on a two-year, $29 million extension with SP Jake Peavy Tuesday, Oct. 30. The deal includes an option for the 2015 season. He'll receive $14.5 million next year and in 2014, and his option becomes a player option if he reaches certain innings limits in those two years. Peavy will receive his $4 million buyout from his previous contract.
