Blue Jays | Ricky Romero undergoes surgery

Toronto Blue Jays SP Ricky Romero (elbow) underwent arthroscopic surgery on his left elbow Tuesday, Oct. 30, and he's expected to need six weeks of recovery time. He also received platelet-rich plasma treatments on both of his knees to help deal with quadriceps tendonitis. Romero's offseason workout program is not expected to be affected by his procedure.
