Giants | Tim Lincecum solid in relief

San Francisco Giants SP Tim Lincecum struck out five of the seven batters he retired in 2 1/3 innings of scoreless relief work against the Detroit Tigers in Game 1 of the World Series Wednesday, Oct. 24. The Tigers missed on seven of their 14 swings against him and only put two of his 32 pitches into play.
