Dodgers | Kenley Jansen will work out this winter
Los Angeles Dodgers RP Kenley Jansen (heart) will be on blood-thinning medication for two to three months after his surgery, but he'll be able to throw and work out without restrictions in the offseason. He might start exercising in the next week to 10 days, too. His surgery Tuesday, Oct. 23, wasn't an open-hear surgery. Instead, the part of his heart that was causing problems was identified and burned, and his heart is currently in normal rhythm. Jansen will be released from the hospital Wednesday, Oct. 24.
