Blue Jays | David Herndon claimed off waivers

The Toronto Blue Jays claimed RP David Herndon off waivers from the Philadelphia Phillies Tuesday, Oct. 23. P Tyson Brummett was released in a corresponding move. Herndon went 0-1 with a 4.70 ERA in five games with the Phillies this year. He had Tommy John surgery in June and is expected to return around midseason next year.
