Patriots | Aaron Hernandez expected to play

New England Patriots TE Aaron Hernandez (ankle) is expected to play against the New York Jets in Week 7, but the team has been cautious with him since he returned to practice Sept. 27. "We obviously limited some of the things that we did with him, but he made some important plays for us," said offensive coordinator Josh McDaniels. "I thought Aaron tried to do exactly what we wanted him to do with his opportunities, and hopefully that will continue to improve as we go forward." He was on the field for 38 of the team's 86 plays in Week 6, and he was thrown to nine times. Hernandez said he felt good and came out of the game with no complications.
