Steelers | Rashard Mendenhall, Isaac Redman out
Pittsburgh Steelers RBs Rashard Mendenhall (Achilles') and Isaac Redman (ankle) did not practice Friday, Oct. 19, and will not play in Week 7.
Fantasy Tip: The injuries to Mendenhall and Redman weren't considered serious when they sustained them. Achilles' problems are tough to gauge, however, and the Steelers won't want to risk further damage to Mendenhall, who has easily been their most effective runner. The team's top back could be in danger of missing future games, too, so stay tuned.
Jonathan Dwyer is likely to start versus the Cincinnati Bengals' somewhat poor run D on Sunday. He should be picked up, at least for use as a sub for one of your backs on bye - in your flex spot, or as your RB2 if you're desperate. Baron Batch should also receive some work, but he's not recommended in Week 7 unless you're facing dire circumstances.
