Cardinals | Jaime Garcia won't have surgery
St. Louis Cardinals SP Jaime Garcia (shoulder) has opted to rehab his rotator cuff strain and inflammation in his left shoulder rather than undergo surgery to address the issues. He'll begin rehabbing and be re-evaluated in two or three weeks by Dr. George Paletta. St. Louis is hopeful he will show up to spring training without any limitations. Garcia will not pitch in the playoffs this year, even if the Cardinals make the World Series.
