Eagles | Defense scheme will not change drastically
Philadelphia Eagles defensive coordinator Todd Bowles said the defense will continue the wide-nine scheme that defensive line coach Jim Washburn brought to the team as well as the mix of zone and man-to-man coverage that the team has been using this season. Bowles said the defense will blitz when it is warranted and when it is working. Bowles is expected to do a better job at closing out games and making adjustments to hold onto a lead than former defensive coordinator Juan Castillo did during games.
