Blue Jays | Jose Bautista recovering quickly

Toronto Blue Jays OF Jose Bautista (wrist) is ahead of schedule in his recovery from season-ending left wrist surgery, and he thinks he could be game-ready in November. "The wrist is feeling good. It's getting the range of motion back," Bautista said at an end-of-the-year press conference. "Still a little bit of soreness and a little bit of stiffness, but it's pretty normal considering the point in the recovery that I'm at right now." He'll likely begin a strengthening program before the end of this month, at which point he'll resume swinging a bat. Bautista is fully confident that he'll be able to return with 100 percent strength after talking to several players that have had similar surgeries.
