St. Louis Cardinals SP Jake Westbrook (oblique) threw a bullpen session Saturday, Oct. 13, in San Francisco. He has gone longer than his previous attempt, as he tries to prove his health to manager Mike Matheny in order to earn a roster spot for the National League Championship Series.
