Rockies | Tom Runnells, Stu Cole to interview

Colorado Rockies bench coach Tom Runnells will interview for the team's managerial opening Thursday, Oct. 11. The team will also meet with Class AAA manager Stu Cole. 1B Jason Giambi, who is considering retirement, is an outside candidate. Colorado will also look candidates outside the organization, such as Cleveland Indians bench coach Sandy Alomar Jr., Los Angeles Dodgers third base coach Tim Wallach and former C Brad Ausmus.
