Athletics | Brett Anderson sharp in playoff win

Oakland Athletics SP Brett Anderson allowed two hits and two walks with six strikeouts over six scoreless innings in a win Tuesday, Oct. 9, in Game 3 of the American League Division Series against the Detroit Tigers. It was his first career playoff victory. It was the 11th shutout for the Athletics in postseason history.
