Lions | Jahvid Best could be activated next week

Detroit Lions RB Jahvid Best (concussion) will undergo tests this week to determine if he can be taken off the Physically Unable to Perform list, and if he passes the tests, he could be activated as soon as Monday, Oct. 15. "He's in very good physical shape," head coach Jim Schwartz said. "Each guy is a little bit different. We took an open mind with Mikel (Leshoure) when he came back. He was able to come back and have a really good opening game. We're too far away there." Schwarz thinks Best could play right away after he returns, and he said that Best is in the best shape of his career.
