Braves | Protest denied
The Atlanta Braves filed a protest due to a controversial infield fly rule call during the Wild Card Game against the St. Louis Cardinals Friday, Oct. 5. The protest was promptly denied by Major League Baseball, and the call on the field upheld. As such, the result of the game stands, as the Cardinals won 6-3 to eliminate the Braves.
