Updating a previous report, Los Angeles Dodgers OF Matt Kemp (shoulder) will have surgery to repair a torn labrum in his left shoulder Friday, Oct. 5, and he'll be out four weeks to four months, depending on what doctors find in his shoulder during the procedure. "They'll cut it open and see what's going on inside of there," Kemp said. "Hopefully, they just clean it up. If they need to do more, they'll do more, but I won't know anything until I wake up." Kemp will not play for Team USA in the World Baseball Classic next year.
