Seahawks | Not opening up playbook

Seattle Seahawks head coach Pete Carroll said the team is "holding the lid" on the passing game and not opening it up completely in order to aid QB Russell Wilson's development. It has led to a decent completion percentage for the rookie passer, but Wilson isn't finding any passing lanes over the middle and is failing to sustain drives. He went just 17 of 25 for 160 yards and no touchdowns against the St. Louis Rams in Week 4.
