St. Louis Cardinals 3B David Freese (ankle) is in the starting lineup against the Washington Nationals Sunday, Sept. 30, batting sixth. He walked during an appearance as a pinch hitter Saturday, Sept. 29. OF Carlos Beltran has returned to the No. 2 spot in the batting order after spending the last two games as the No. 6 hitter.
