Giants | Buster Posey could miss next two games

San Francisco Giants C Buster Posey (throat) was shaken up during the second inning Friday, Sept. 28, when a pitch from SP Ryan Vogelsong bounced in the dirt and hit him right below his hockey-style catcher's mask. He stayed down on his knees for several minutes while being attended to by a trainer but remained in the game. Posey could barely speak above a hoarse whisper after the game but said that he was "OK, except my throat hurts." Manager Bruce Bochy originally planned to give Posey off Sunday, Sept. 30, but he may also be out of the lineup Saturday, Sept. 29.
