Oakland Athletics SP A.J. Griffin appears to be in line to start the team's regular-season finale against the Texas Rangers Wednesday, Oct. 3. He allowed one run on four hits in a victory against the Seattle Mariners Friday, Sept. 28, with two walks and four strikeouts in 5 2/3 innings.
