Giants | Hakeem Nicks injury update

Updating a previous item, New York Giants WR Hakeem Nicks (foot, knee) is believed to be dealing with swelling in his left knee, although the team has not specified which knee is bothering him. The injury originated when he went down hard on an incomplete pass in the fourth quarter of Week 2. His ankle was stepped on in the process. Nicks hadn't been able to run to test the knee over the past two weeks; however, he tested it Thursday, Sept. 27, and the Giants determined it was an issue.
