Braves | Dan Uggla playing through hand injury
Atlanta Braves 2B Dan Uggla (hand) cut his right hand and required stitches to stop the bleeding when he reached into an ice bin for a drink during the team's playoff celebration earlier this week. Uggla played Wednesday and Thursday, Sept. 26 and 27, and doesn't plan on missing any games because of the injury now that the stitches have been replaced by three staples.
