Royals | Eric Hosmer has strained shoulder

Updating a previous report, Kansas City Royals 1B Eric Hosmer (shoulder) is dealing with a strained shoulder. SS Alcides Escobar (shoulder), who was also injured Thursday, Sept. 27, is dealing with a bruised shoulder and hopes to return Friday, Sept. 28. "They both have bruised (shoulders)," manager Ned Yost said. "Hos pinched his (rotator) cuff in the back. Esky has a bruise in the front."
