Brewers | Jean Segura makes adjustments
The Milwaukee Brewers coaching staff is impressed with how quickly SS Jean Segura has made adjustments at the plate since jumping from Class AA to the majors this year. Hitting coach Johnny Narron has worked with Segura on his setup at the plate, mainly making sure the youngster is on time for pitches and has his hands ready. Segura is batting .383 (18-for-47) in his last 15 games. "I introduced him to our system," said Narron. "We have an approach visually, an approach mentally, an approach physically. I shared that information with him and allowed him to apply it to what he was already doing. Cleaned up his hand movements a little bit."
