Jets | Darrelle Revis' days numbered?

New York Jets CB Darrelle Revis (knee) may not have a long-term future with the team. Revis may play his final season with the team in 2013. Ever since the team renegotiated his contract in 2010, they have been pointing to before the start of the 2013 season as the time to return to the bargaining table to hammer out a long-term extension. The Jets would have to do it before Revis plays out his contact because there's a clause in his current deal that prohibits the team from using the franchise tag when he becomes a free agent after the 2013 season. Revis' injury, however, could complicate matters. "It's a real problem," according to a longtime general manager. "You could say all bets are off. Until you see it - until you see him at 100 percent - do you want to make that kind of investment? I don't know many teams that would."
