Oakland Athletics manager Bob Melvin dropped struggling OF Josh Reddick to the No. 6 spot in the batting order against the New York Yankees Saturday, Sept. 22. He is hitless in his last 13 at-bats and struck out four times Friday, Sept. 21. OF Yoenis Cespedes was moved to the No. 3 spot in the batting order, with 1B Brandon Moss batting cleanup.
