Yankees | Being cautious with Derek Jeter

New York Yankees manager Joe Girardi said he is being cautious with SS Derek Jeter (ankle) because his ankle is not 100 percent yet and wants to limit his time in the field. "It's something that we're going to have to manage," Girardi said. "It's not 100 percent. You could say, why don't you give him a week off? I'm not so sure it'd be 100 percent if you gave him a week off. We'll have to manage it. I'm going to pick my days and just kind of go day by day."
