Yankees | Mark Teixeira to ramp up activity

New York Yankees 1B Mark Teixeira (calf) will report to the team's minor league complex Monday, Sept. 24, and he'll eventually play in instructional league games as part of his rehab. There is no timetable for his return, but general manager Brian Cashman said it could be the end of next week. Teixeira plans on hitting in the cages Thursday, Sept. 20, and he'll try to do work on the field this weekend. His calf remains swollen and sore.
