Padres | Cameron Maybin rests Achilles'
San Diego Padres OF Cameron Maybin (Achilles') was out of the lineup Tuesday, Sept. 18, resting his sore left Achilles' tendon. "It's doing OK, it's still a little sore," manager Bud Black said. "We spoke today about if starting today's game would be beneficial. We decided that getting off the Achilles' was a good idea. We hope the pain subsides a little." OF Will Venable started in Maybin's stead.
