Patriots | Like Julian Edelman as a blocker?

One of the reasons the New England Patriots could be playing WR Julian Edelman over WR Wes Welker is because of Edelman's run-blocking ability. RB Stevan Ridley had some of his biggest runs in Week 2 (20, 12 and 10 yards) out of the team's two-receiver packages with Edelman on the field over Welker. Of 18 snaps the Patriots had in that personnel grouping, Edelman was on the field over Welker for 15 of them.
