Padres | Carlos Quentin making progress

San Diego Padres manager Bud Black said OF Carlos Quentin (knee) has been making progress in his recovery from a sore knee. Quentin was scheduled to do some batting practice before the team's game Friday, Sept. 14. He has been available to pinch hit but has only been used once in the last four games.
