Free-agent WR Plaxico Burress (Jets) thought he would have signed with a team by now; however, he remains confident he will play this season. "I believe it will happen," Burress said. "I'm staying in shape ... For the next month or so I'm going to continue to work hard, see what happens, remain optimistic and when the opportunity comes I'll be ready."
