Jaguars | Maurice Jones-Drew expected to start
Jacksonville Jaguars RB Maurice Jones-Drew is expected to start Week 2 because of the injury to RB Rashad Jennings (knee) and will see extensive playing time. The team is trying to get Jones-Drew up to speed with the offensive playbook. Head coach Mike Mularkey said Jennings' injury is not a long-term injury but it is the same knee that cost him his 2011 season.
Fantasy Tip: Jones-Drew will see more playing time Week 2 but could still have his touches limited as he continues to come back from his holdout, so he should be considered a No. 2 running back this week especially against a good Houston Texans defense. Jennings is dealing with a knee injury and likely will not be a good start this week or moving forward because he will be backing up Jones-Drew.
