Cardinals | John Skelton to miss 2-4 weeks
Arizona Cardinals QB John Skelton (ankle) is expected to miss two to four weeks with a low ankle sprain, according to a source with knowledge of the situation. As a result, QB Kevin Kolb will jump in as the starter, beginning in Week 2 against the New England Patriots.
Fantasy Tip: Although Kolb was efficient in leading the game-winning drive against the Seattle Seahawks in Week 1, he has unfavorable matchups upcoming in the Patriots and Philadelphia Eagles in Week 3. Consider him a low-end backup.
His play in Skelton's absence will go a long way in determining if he'll stick as the starter upon Skelton's return. It's not out of the realm of possibility that he will regain the starting job if he plays well.
