Angels | Maicer Izturis to take some time off

Los Angeles Angels of Anaheim INF Maicer Izturis (back) will need roughly four days off after muscles in his back tightened up Saturday, Sept. 8. "I just felt locked up," Izturis said in Spanish. "I figured, 'If I keep going, it'll just get worse.' ... I'll just stay off it for a couple of days, ice it, and, like I said, take maybe four days off and get myself ready to finish strong."
