Angels | Mark Trumbo dropped to seventh

Los Angeles Angels of Anaheim 3B Mark Trumbo batted seventh in the Angels' order Friday, Sept. 7, for the first time since May 4. Trumbo got the day off Tuesday, Sept. 4, in Oakland, but he's still mired in a horrid slump, so manager Mike Scioscia moved him down from sixth in the previous game to seventh, to take further pressure off him. Trumbo had been batting fourth or fifth for most of the season.
