Pirates | Injured players rehabbing

Pittsburgh Pirates OF Jose Tabata (foot) is available Friday, Sept. 7. He's having more difficulty playing the field than swinging a bat. OF Travis Snider (hamstring) could pinch hit Friday, if needed. RP Chad Qualls (toe) will be activated from the disabled list Sunday, Sept. 9. SP Jeff Karstens (hip) played long toss Friday and will throw a bullpen Saturday, Sept. 8. He will miss at least one more start.
