Nationals | Chien-Ming Wang to play a role

Washington Nationals manager Davey Johnson was impressed with SP Chien-Ming Wang's bullpen session Friday, Sept. 7, and the skipper thinks Wang will contribute as either a starter or reliever down the stretch. "That's the best I've seen him since the spring," Johnson said. "He was outstanding. Great 'pen. I was pleased with that. I hadn't seen him in three or four months. I liked what I saw."
